Background Information
Triangle Sewing Centre is a Canadian company that was born in the home
of Alba Babin in 1970. Al began repairing and selling sewing machines from his basement, and after a few years, he opened a store on York Rd, in Guelph, ON. The early years were tough, and Al had to work
a night job to keep his business going. But it was worth it. Al's dream of running his own business and providing the best quality service was achieved.
A few years into the business, Al was joined by Nick Caravaggio, a
friend who had some experience in the sewing machine business. Al taught Nick everything he knew, and before long they were offering the outstanding service that had helped them grow and thrive. The
business eventually moved to 20 Stevenson St. S, in Guelph. In 1990, Al retired but Nick took over, and with help from his wife Nancy, he still runs Triangle Sewing Centre.
On July 1st, 1999 Triangle Sewing Centre moved to 386 Woolwich St.in
Guelph to a much more spacious store. Nick still offers the great service and warranties that helped build Triangle Sewing Centre. It's well trained technician is on the premises to give you prompt
attention. You'll always receive courteous, friendly service and advice from the knowledgeable staff.
Nick has also improved the business by offering some new services. With
the purchase of a new sewing machine, customers also receive free sewing lessons, and there are now sewing classes, taught by Nancy and other instructors, in the new classroom. As always, Triangle Sewing
Centre offers the best sewing machines, including Janome, Bernina and Brother and services all makes and models. It also has a huge selection of thread, a library of books and snaps and buttons.
